Field Trip To Mysuru
Class: 9 Date: 27 October 2025
The students of class 9 visited three major attractions in Mysuru – the Mysuru Palace, the Rail Museum and the Payana Car Museum as a of part of their experiential learning. The trip aimed to help students explore the rich heritage, engineering marvels and technological advancements of India in the fields of art, architecture and transportation. The students were amazed by the intricate carvings, stained glass windows, royal paintings and magnificent domes at Mysuru Palace. On the other hand, the rail museum showcased the evolution of Indian Railways through models, vintage locomotives and photographs. The children also enjoyed a mini toy train ride at the rail museum. The students were exposed to Indian craftsmanship and restoration skills in maintaining vintage cars and built appreciation for cultural conversation and technological history at the Payana Car Museum. Students learnt about famous car manufacturers – Fiat, Daimler, Rolls-Royce, Ford etc. Overall the students were enthralled by the trip and they carried home a treasure of knowledge and memories with them.
