The Literary Association organized an interhouse roleplay skit competition on the theme “Chaturah Yatri Ondu Destination” For students of classes 9-12. The event was conducted with the broader goal of fostering a sense of collectiveness and unity among speakers of different languages. Centered around the message “Language is not a barrier, but a bridge,” the activity highlighted how communication and understanding can transcend linguistic diversity.
The competition witnessed vibrant performances that reflected creativity, collaboration and cultural awareness. Aether House brought their concept to life through a lively scene set in a contemporary airport, illustrating connection amidst diversity. Athena House offered a thoughtful interpretation through the story of four trekkers embarking on a journey symbolizing unity and empathy.
Aura House infused humour and realism into their skit, set amidst the bustling traffic of Bangalore, showcasing diversity and the essence of urban culture. Astraea House presented a moving narrative of four diverse perspective within a human body.
Set against the backdrop of National Unity Day, the event beautifully emphasised how language and culture serve as threads that weave people together. From the witty humour of Aura House to the theatrical finesse of Astraea House, the competition was an inspiring celebration of expression, creativity, and unity — a resounding success in every sense.
