Crack the Case – The Scientific Mystery Challenge.

On 19th August 2025, the Senior Science Association organised an engaging inter-house activity titled ‘Crack the Case – The Scientific Mystery Challenge.’ The event was designed to test students' analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities and the application of scientific knowledge to real-world scenarios.
In this intellectually stimulating competition, teams representing different houses were presented with science-based mystery cases, inspired by real-life situations. Each case was accompanied by a set of clues and pieces of evidence. Teams then presented their findings in the form of structured case reports, enhanced with creative visual aids. These presentations highlighted the students’ analytical thinking, scientific insight, logical reasoning and communication skills. Their ability to connect the clues and present scientific explanations convincingly left a strong impression on both peers and judges.
The event not only challenged students intellectually but also successfully nurtured a spirit of exploration, reinforcing the joy of discovering science beyond the textbook.
