Visit To Mathru

Class: 11 Date: 13 November 2025

On 13 November, 2025, Grade 11 students from National Public School, Yeshwanthpur visited the Mathru Residential School for the Hearing Impaired in Yelahanka, Bengaluru as a part of SEWA. This trip gave students a glimpse into the lives of the differently abled children.
The students of both schools had planned events for each other. Our students performed a magic show which left everyone in awe, a beautifully choreographed dance performance and a song, which was sung in sign language. The students of Mathru School performed a well-choreographed dance which received a well-deserved standing ovation. After the events, our students spent time with the differently abled students in their classrooms. Donations of play materials and distribution of sweets were to children at the community event, brought joy and excitement to all participants.
Overall, the trip was an insightful dive into acknowledging the value of life, feeling grateful how gifted we are and developing empathy towards fellow human beings.
