Minimising Plastic Waste- Collage Making
Class: 5 & Date: 16 June 2025
The Eco Club of National Public School, Yeshwathpur, organised a Collage-Making Activity for the students of Class 5 on the theme "Minimising Plastic Waste” to raise awareness about the harmful effects of plastic on our environment and to encourage young minds to think creatively about sustainable solutions.
The event aimed to combine environmental education with artistic expression. Students were encouraged to create collages using old newspapers, magazines and other recyclable materials, avoiding plastic items wherever possible. Students brought eco-friendly materials from home and shared ideas about reducing plastic use.
Each group presented their collage and explained the message behind it, showcasing impressive awareness and originality. The activity not only helped them understand the dangers of plastic waste but also empowered them to become ambassadors of change in their communities.
