CARD MAKING

Class: 8 & Date: 14 June 2025

The Eco club of National Public School, Yeshwanthpur conducted a card making activity on Saturday,14 June in the school. The students made Thank You cards using eco-friendly materials. The primary goal of this activity was to promote environmental consciousness among students by creating personalized thank you cards using sustainable materials. This initiative aimed to: • Encourage the use of recycled and biodegradable materials. • Raise awareness about the environmental impact of traditional card manufacturing. • Foster creativity and gratitude among students.
The students used materials like old newspapers, scrap paper, and cardboard which were repurposed to create the card base, dried flowers, leaves, and seeds were incorporated to add a natural touch. Students engaged in hands-on sessions where they designed and personalized their cards. Brief talks were held to educate participants on the importance of using sustainable materials and the environmental benefits of their choices. Each card featured a heartfelt message of thanks, emphasizing the value of appreciation and sustainability.
Students gained a deeper understanding of sustainable practices and their importance. It not only allowed students to express gratitude but also instilled a sense of duty towards preserving our planet. The Eco Club looks forward to organizing more such initiatives to foster a sustainable future.
