Humanities Department organised the second edition of NPSYPR Inhouse MUN-2025 (Model United Nations) on Tuesday 19 June 2025 for the students of classes 8 to 12. This was an educational simulation of diplomacy, understanding of international relationship and crisis. Delegations representing different countries participated in the session forming United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) to debate on the topic ‘Foreign Investments in Private Military Companies: Ethical Concerns’.The MUN session showcased students' dedication to diplomacy, critical thinking, and global awareness. Participants had an enriching experience on how to tackle global issues diplomatically. The event instilled values of cooperation and mutual respect amongst the student body.
The MUN conference was not just an event, but an experience – one that empowered students to think globally and act responsibly. It enhanced their awareness of international affairs, built confidence, and fostered empathy towards diverse viewpoints. Overall, this session was taken in a good stride by the participants who deliberated with great vigour and energetically portrayed their thoughts and opinions during the session. It exemplified the spirit of collaborative learning and global citizenship, setting a benchmark for future diplomatic simulations.
