IN-HOUSE MOCK PARLIAMENT
Class: 9-12 & Date: 17 june 2025
National Public School, Yeshwanthpur organised a Mock Parliament session on Tuesday, 17 June 2025 for the students of Classes 9 to 12, simulating real parliamentary proceedings. The session began with introductory statement, followed by a question hour. During the Zero-hour, current concerns were discussed with clarity and conviction. The central debate focused on the motion ‘Removing caste-based reservations and focusing on economic reservations’. Students actively participated in presenting, debating and voting on the bill, representing both ruling and opposition parties. The session offered valuable insights into democratic processes while honing students’ critical thinking, public speaking and leadership skills.
