AGRICULTURE IN 2047

Class: 10E Date: 11 July 2025

The students of Class 10E presented a thoughtful and engaging assembly on the theme "Agriculture in 2047: From Struggle to Sustainability". The skit portrayed the transformation of Indian agriculture over time. It began with the hardships of farmers seen during the past and contrasted that with the innovative solutions of the present and future like drought resistant HYV seeds and smart drone-facilitated irrigation. It showcased the transition of farming from a profession characterized by extreme hard work and a dependence on an unpredictable nature for a good yield to one where that is guaranteed through ingenious solutions like hydroponics enabling growing of horticultural and other crops in a super-efficient manner. The skit effectively illustrated the shift from traditional farming methods to a future where science, awareness and sustainability work hand in hand to support farmers and the environment by flawlessly incorporating futuristic technology.
The assembly was also extremely engaging, with a quiz that tested students on their knowledge on modern agriculture and it concluded with a melodious poem. It was an inspiring and well-executed presentation that left the audience with a deep appreciation for the journey of Indian agriculture and an optimistic outlook on the future of the field.
