Ganesh Chaturthi and National Sports Day

Class: 4D Date: 25 to 29 August 2025

The students of Class 4D presented their class assembly on ‘Ganesh Chaturthi’ from Monday, 25 August to Friday, 29 August 2025. The objective of the assembly was to highlight the cultural and spiritual significance of the festival and spread awareness about Lord Ganesh’s teachings. A devotional bhajan dedicated to Lord Ganesh was sung by the students, creating a spiritual and festive atmosphere.

A short and engaging quiz was conducted to test and increase awareness about the various names and attributes of Lord Ganesh followed by the ‘Thought of the Day’, which emphasised wisdom and humility.

The festive celebration was followed by National Sports Day, with this year's theme being "Ek Ghanta, Khel ke Maidan Main," encouraging people to dedicate 60 minutes daily to physical activity to tackle lifestyle changes. The combined celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi and National Sports Day allowed students to connect with values like wisdom, humility, and the importance of physical fitness.
