Hindi is not just a language. It is a cultural identity, a way of life and a source of pride for millions. National Public School, Yeshwanthpur celebrated Hindi Diwas on Thursday, 18 September 2025 with great enthusiasm, honouring the beauty and cultural significance of Hindi Language. The event began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by an introductory speech that reflected on the significance of the language and the role it plays in uniting the nation. Students showcased their talent through a series of engaging performances. A soulful Kavita Vachan (poetry recitation) and a thought-provoking drama beautifully brought the richness of Hindi literature to life. The audience were delighted by a vibrant fusion dance and a melodious classical Hindi performance that truly captured the essence of the occasion. Adding a heartfelt dimension, a Hindi teacher shared her inspiring journey, emphasizing the profound impact of the language both in the classroom and in everyday life. The event concluded on a humorous note with a skit titled ‘Aaj ki Mahabharat’, which offered a contemporary twist on the epic, evoking both laughter and applause.
The celebration concluded with an interactive quiz on Hindi Idioms, sparking curiosity and enthusiasm among students. On this special occasion of Hindi Diwas, the Principal Ms Sheeja Manoj congratulated all the students and faculty members and appreciated the programme wholeheartedly. In her address, she emphasized that every language holds its own significance. Hindi is our official language and a reflection of our cultural identity. Therefore, it is important for us to recognize and appreciate the value of Hindi. The event was a perfect blend of language, learning and celebration—leaving everyone with a deeper appreciation for the language and its place in India’s cultural fabric. Hindi, connects people and stands as a symbol of our cultural heritage and national identity, which we must preserve and pass on to future generations.
